July is officially here and so is the first July edition of our series ‘7 Days, 7 Looks‘. This time Andrea from Bavaria in Germany is letting us have a sneak peek at her weekly wardrobe.
The soon-to-be Central Saint Martins (yep, you know it: that’s where Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philo and John Galliano all went to uni) Fashion Womenswear Design student turns heads with her unconventional style and obsession with London flea markets and Ebay.Apart from her unconditional love for clothes, Andrea is infatuated with Russian literature (particularly The Gambler by Fyodor Dostoyevsky) and dreams of doing a cruise around the world. Eventually, however, she wants to settle down in Russia, bringing her one step closer to Fyodor and Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.
Wearing a 50s coat that I found at Radio Days Vintage store in London, paired with a t-shirt that I screen-printed and embroidered myself.
Coat: vintage; shirt: handmade; shoes: vintage; beanie: Pieces
I love old t-shirts. This one is from a trip to Peru back in 1987 that my neighbour had in his garage. Also wearing an All Saints t-shirt as a wrap skirt and my running shoes.
T-shirt: vintage; long t-shirt: All Saints; sneakers: Asics
Ever since I started taking out student loans, Ebay and flea markets have become my favourite places to shop. This massive belt is an original army belt that I got at a flea market. Same goes for the black linen apron with the cute little pockets on the sides.
Coat: vintage; t-shirt: vintage; skirt: Tom Tailor; apron: vintage; belt: vintage; boots: Marc Jacobs
And again a piece from my t-shirt collection: I got this one during my time as an exchange student in Indiana, USA. Wearing it with tailored trousers that I cut up and Adidas sneakers.
