For the past three weeks the blog has been in the midst of a California style drought. But fortunately the fashion equivalent of El Niño is here and now it’s raining outfits. Not just any outfit guys. It’s another wardrobe diary post with the lovely and muy caliente Cristina from MedBlick.
Spanish blogger Cris is one of those people who can really call themselves a globetrotter. Home for her has literally been anywhere and everywhere from Madrid, New York, Cologne (Germany) to Barcelona where she now lives. And it was in Cologne where our lives crossed in 2011 when we were both interning at Apropos Store‘s press department. What can I say? We lived happily ever after. Jokes aside. We did get on very well and I fell in love with Cris’ easygoing style. She’s one of those people who actually masters the art of effortless dressing like Jennifer Lawrence masters the art of tumbling to the ground at award shows.
…So how does a 27-year-old master of effortless dressing wear during the week? Scroll down to see and don’t forget to check out her Instagram where she ‘teaches’ us one or two lessons on that everyday.
If I start my week with a good outfit, I feel like the famous ‘Monday morning feeling’ isn’t going to be as hard as it usually is. Plus I’m going to an event and won’t have time change at home.
Trench coat: Stradivarius; top: Tot-hom; leggings: Zara; bag: Parfois; sandals: Un Paso Más Barcelona
I just love to wear black and to mix different fabrics – so much that I actually do it on a daily basis. I’ve had this fringed leather skirt for five years and it turns out that it’s one of fall’s biggest trend. Such a keeper!
Parka: Mango; top: Maje; leather skirt: Zara; bag: Topshop
Who says office looks can’t be fun? It’s all about mixing classic pieces with modern ones and this is the result. Timeless black trousers, a striped shirt and neon orange sneakers. I am getting more and more addicted to sneakers which is a very good thing since I walk to the office twice a week. Each way takes me about 45 minutes so being comfy is a must.
Striped shirt: Stradivarius; suit pants: Zara; sneakers: Nike
Although Fall is already here, it’s still quite warm in Barcelona. This is another office look with two of my favourite pieces: my beloved oversized blazer and these shorts. I combined them in a more classic way to attend to couple of meetings and to go to a deco store opening later in the evening.
Blazer: Zara; shorts: The Avant; T-shirt: Zalando; bag: Furla; loafers: Zara
It’s Friday and I have to stay at the office all day so I’m opting for a very comfortable look today. However, I’m taking my high heels with me as I’m meeting my friends for a few drinks after work before going for dinner with my boyfriend.
Oversized blazer: Bimba & Lola; jeans: Zara; mini bag: Furla; sneakers: Nike
Today I’m spending the day with my boyfriend: walking by the sea, enjoying a natural juice and watching the sunset. It’s pretty windy today so my parka comes in handy whilst also giving an informal touch to this #allblackeverything look.
Parka: Mango; leggings: Sandro; sunglasses: Zero UV; bag: Zara; sandals: Zara
There’s some bling bling going on today on my feet adding a bit of glamour to this easy look. This is the combo I wear to enjoy a walk around the city centre and have a midday aperitivo with my family.
Tie dye shirt: Zara; skinny jeans: Cheap Monday; sunglasses- Zara; mini bag: Uterqüe; booties: Nituniyo Barcelona
