Feeling Festive

I can’t believe it’s Christmas next week. I’m already in Germany to spend it with my family and super excited about next week. Normally I’m one of those people who’s still running from shop to shop to find presents on the 23rd but not this year guys👏🏻💪🏼. I know: what an achievement😜😉. This means I can really enjoy the run up to Christmas i.e. Christmas market trip, another round of Love Actually (because I haven’t seen it 1500 times already), a cozy blanket, the smell of scented candles and one or two (or five) Christmas parties.

Speaking of Christmas parties: I absolutely love them, particularly how they give you a great reason to really dress up. This year I decided to stay away from the sparkle and to invest in this gorgeous wine red Self-Portrait mini dress which basically screams festive season to me. It would be a total waste to hide it under a coat so that’s when I reached for this gorgeous military style cape from SheIn. The gold buttons make the cape stand out and I love the girly scalloped hem. The best part: my favourite dress of the season is still very much on show. Festive dress + cape = match made in heaven. Not to forget the trusty Stuart Weitzman ‘Tieland’ boots (yes, them again 🙈) which saves every girl from freezing.
