Touch of Pink

Sunday Funday, right? Well not so much in London today since it’s raining cats and dogs outside combined with ice cold weather. So I’m all tucked up in bed having a cup of hot chocolate. I’m not exactly a fan of the cold season but if there’s one thing I love about it, it’s cozy days like these.

Another great thing about this autumn/winter is how much the colour pink is dominating the fashion scene. I mean pink brightens up any day no matter how rainy or cold it is. On that note I decided to brighten up my all black outfit with this awesome woollen coat from Zara (bargain at £49.99), this cute floral bodysuit and of course my trusty Valentino Rockstud Trapeze bag in nude.
I never usually mix softer tones with dark colours but lately I’ve really been digging pink and black together. What do you think?

There’s another item in this look that brightened up the day for me despite its black colour: my new Stuart Weitzman Tieland over-the-knee boots. You’ve already seen me sporting the grey Lowland ones (here, here and here) and the black 5050 boots (here) and there aren’t better knee-high or over-the-knee boots out there at the moment – for me at least. When the brand launched the Tieland model this year, I knew I had to have them. The block heel is super comfy (I’m not exaggerating here) and it works like a treat when it comes to lengthening the legs visually. Basically I feel obliged to warn you that you’ll see a lot more of these boots on the blog. Please forgive me 😉😇

The Wrap Effect

Let's talk about the wrap effect. Recently I've been drawn to every wrap skirt on the planet. I blame it...
